Red Salamander Pottery

     Becki Henderson-Gow creates handcrafted wheel thrown pottery in her studio located in the picturesque valley of Cove Creek, North Carolina. Most of her work is functional stoneware. The designs on her pottery are carved or created with a variety of colored slips. These original designs reflect memories of her mother’s stitchery, Native American archetypal motifs and her personal relationship to the natural world. 

     Before founding her business, Red Salamander Pottery in 2013, Becki taught visual arts, pottery and photography for over twenty-five years in the NC Public School System.
